This is not kitsch, however, and by the end of page one it's clear that the intentional 1940's treatment is no aesthetic mockery. It's unequivocally clear that the guys at IDP respect and love this stuff.<br /><br />That's not to say it isn't funny - it is. Most of the dialogue in the diner scene is priceless.
